Hourly Rate: $13.79-$15.00

Adult Softball - Spring 2026 Registration Now Open
2026 Spring Deadline: Wednesday, April 15th
LOCATION: Wenke Softball Complex inside River Oaks County Park
GAME TIMES: 6:15 pm, 7:30 pm, and 8:45 pm
DAYS & TEAM FEES*:
- Monday: Coed ($585)
- Tuesday: Women’s ($585)
- Wednesday: Men’s ($585)
- Thursday: Coed with Double-Header ($880) or Single Game ($585) option
- Friday: Men’s Double-Header ($880)
*all include a forfeit fee of $30 to be refunded if not used
The spring season starts Monday, April 27th and is 12 weeks long.
Community Garden Plot Registration Now Open
Plots are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Gardeners are limited to one plot at the start of the season, with additional plots offered later if space allows.
LOCATION: On King Hwy, near the Comstock Community Center and Jan Schau Wildflower Walk
GARDEN SEASON: Mid-May – October
PLOT FEE: $10 per plot for the season
A brief pre-season meeting will be held to review garden guidelines and expectations.

Applications are now open for the 2026 season. Local growers, producers, and makers who want to connect with the community and share their products with market shoppers are welcome to apply!
The Market will be on Mondays, 3 – 6 PM, June – September 21 at Merrill Park.

Saturday, April 4th

Comstock VFW Post 6252 is hosting an Easter Egg Hunt for Comstock community children ages 12 and under.
Flag ceremony immediately before the horn blows at 11 AM sharp.
Comstock VFW Memorial Day Parade
Monday, May 25th at 12 PM
Parade starts at Forest Academy and ends at the VFW.

Neal St. Park Pickleball Courts Closed for Season
Depending on the weather, the pickleball courts will open by April 20th at the latest.
The park itself is open 9 AM to dusk every day. There is a playground, bathroom facility, a walking path, and limited seating. There is no running water.
Pickleball Court Info
- 4 courts
- Bring your own paddles and balls
- Play will be on a first come, first serve basis for any skill level
- No court can be held waiting for additional players to arrive
- Courts are not reservable at this time
There is not a paddle saddle but play should be conducted in rotations of 4 on, 4 off when more than 4 are waiting, 2s when less than 4 are waiting to play. Court time is limited to 30 minutes or 1 game to 11 points win by 2, whichever comes first.
