Community Playground Build; background picture of new playground equipment

UPDATE – BUILD POSTPONED, NEW DATE TBD: Due to wet conditions at the site and the amount of recent rainfall, the playground build for the new park on Neal St. has been postponed. A new date hasn’t been set yet, but we may be able to reschedule the build for a date later this fall. Once we confirm a new date, we’ll share the details in case you’re interested and available to join us then. We appreciate your willingness to support this project!

The Comstock Township Parks and Recreation department is seeking volunteers for a community playground build at the new park on Neal Street.  This hands-on project will take place over two to three days starting Wednesday, August 20.  Build time will be from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day, with a break for lunch at 12:00 p.m.  Lunch will be provided for all volunteers.

We’re seeking 25-30 volunteers each day/shift. We will work rain or shine, but we will stop for lightning.
