Spring Hydrant Flushing Schedule

The City of Kalamazoo will begin spring hydrant flushing on Sunday, April 20, 2025.  Flushing will take place during evening hours of 10:30 p.m. and 5:30 a.m., and daytime hours of 7:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.  Click HERE for a hydrant flushing map.

City crews are equipped with all the necessary tools to help avoid damages that could occur during flushing operations.  If you have scheduled construction, maintenance, you find damage that might have occurred (washouts, flooded areas, hydrants left running, etc.), or in the event of an emergency, please call 311 or (269) 337-8000.  Click HERE for more information about the hydrant flushing process.
