Note: On October 1, 2012, the Kalamazoo Area Building Authority (KABA) began processing the Township’s various Building Department permit applications.
All construction-related activity in Comstock Township requires review and approval for zoning compliance prior to issuance of a building permit or for construction that does not require a building permit. The Zoning Compliance Permit Application form is available on our website or by visiting the Township office. Additionally, all signs, freestanding and/or wall, also require review and approval for zoning compliance prior to placement.
On September 23, 2016 all Kalamazoo Area Building Authority staff will be working out of their new location at 2322 Nazareth Road in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
