From Kalamazoo County: Kalamazoo County Youth Fair & Family Festival is back again for 2023

KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Kalamazoo County Youth Fair & Family Festival is back again, better than ever for 2023, to highlight 4-H programs and youth education while providing agricultural education to children and families in our community.

4-H horse and livestock shows will occur Tuesday, Aug. 8, through Friday, Aug. 11. The public is welcome to attend the 4-H livestock auction, starting with small animals and ending with large animals, on Friday at 1 p.m. This allows 4-H youth to sell their animals and earn money.

The fair will culminate in a family festival for the public on Saturday, Aug. 12, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., that will offer fun kid’s entertainment and activities, an Inflatable Fun Zone, 4-H exhibits, and food vendors, plus hands-on demonstrations led by our 4-H youth and plenty of educational activities! A silent auction benefiting the Kalamazoo River Valley Trail and the Fair will also be held on Friday & Saturday.

New for 2023 is Kanin Wren’s Taylor Swift Experience in the Grandstand at 6 p.m. on August 12. Admission to this live show is included in the Fair vehicle admission price. Come early to see the animals, eat some great food, and enjoy the Fair before the show. 2023 is going to be a great Kalamazoo County Youth Fair & Family Festival!

The Kalamazoo County Youth Fair & Family Festival, held at the Kalamazoo County Expo Center & Fairground located at 2900 Lake St., is open Tuesday through Saturday, Aug. 8-12. Admission
