2023 National Night Out at Merrill Park

Comstock Township, MI- Comstock Charter Township is again partnering with the Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office to make our community safer.

Comstock Township is thrilled and honored to join the Sheriff’s Office in hosting National Night Out for the second year annually.

National Night Out will be held at Merrill Park on Tuesday, August 1, 2023, from 5-7 PM.

“National Night Out continues to be a popular community gathering event for Comstock Center,” said Comstock Center DDA Director Sandra Katje, “The Downtown Development Authority is more actively promoting Comstock Township as a destination place utilizing Merrill Park, the KVRT Trailways and the beautiful Kalamazoo River right in the heart of Comstock. Walk, bike, or paddle to downtown Comstock for National Night Out 2023!”

We invite all of Kalamazoo County to come to Merrill Park for free food, entertainment, and a chance to catch up with the hard-working emergency responders.
‘It’s is a huge privilege to again host National Night Out at Merrill Park in Downtown Comstock Center,” said Comstock Charter Township Parks Director Danielle Myrkle, “We’re dedicated to making this year’s National Night Out just as successful as last year’s.”

National Night Out is an annual community-building event that helps to develop the partnership between law enforcement and the communities they serve.

According to National Night Out Organization’s website, over 17,000 communities host National Night Out events.
