Changes coming to McLinden Trail on Friday, June 2

The City of Kalamazoo, Water Resources Division, will be making some changes to McLinden Trail starting Friday, June 2. They are working diligently on protecting the groundwater and municipal wells on their property by reworking some of the trailways and adding signage. You will notice some minor changes to the walking trail paths you are familiar with at McLinden. A few shortcut trails will be added. Other trails will be closing near the pumping wells on the west side of the property to protect the trees and underbrush, and to reduce the possibility of maintenance vehicles injuring walkers. The City will also be adding trails signs and more information on their Wellhead Protection Program.
