Photos: Public Accuracy Test for the August 2nd elections

Comstock Charter Township held their Public Accuracy Test on July 21st, 2022. The Public Accuracy Test ensures that the tabulators are ready for the August 2nd primaries. 41 different ballots were placed into every tabulator used at polling places in the Township. These test ballots contained every possible voting scenario including all ways a ballot could be rejected or not counted. We made sure that no ballots that were accepted that weren’t supposed to be and that the proper warning messages were displayed. We also had one ballot from Alamo Township so we could make sure the tabulator would reject that ballot. At the beginning and end of the test, we looked at the tabulator tape to make sure the results lined up with what we voted.
