What’s going up there- Castle Creek Farm off of 35th street
Crews spent time clearing the site of 42 future homes in Galesburg on Thursday, May 12.
The new subdivision will be built right next to the already existing Castle Creek Ridge subdivision
The two communities will be separate, with separate homeowners associations.
Allen Edwin Homes is building the new subdivision
Mike West, who works for Allen Edwin Homes, said they be similar to the existing homes at Castle Creek Ridge
In an email to us, Mike described them as “A mixture of two-story, raised ranch and ranch style homes ranging between 1,400 to 2,400 square feet.”
Mike says they choose to build in Comstock because of the great location.
He said that “the property is located in a desirable area of Comstock Township with convenient access to Interstate 94, and in close proximity to the Kalamazoo/Portage and Battle Creek metropolitan areas.”
Both subdivisions will share Castle Ridge Circle as an entrance, which is right off of 35th street.
Mark anticipates the new homes will sell for around $300,000 to $350,000 .
Castle Creek Ridge was constructed by a separate developer.
