The Comstock Township Offices will be closed July 5, 2021, in observance of Independence Day.
The 4th of July is fast approaching. Comstock Township follows the State of Michigan fireworks law. Below is a brief description of the laws in place regarding fireworks.
For the 4th of July period, fireworks can be used from Tuesday June 29th to July 4th, and not after 11:45 pm each night. Those who violate can receive a $1000 fine for each offense. Fireworks are also prohibited on all National Forest System land.
