Independence Day Firework Information
The 4th of July is fast approaching. Comstock Township follows the State of Michigan fireworks law. Below is a brief description of the laws in place regarding fireworks.
For the 4th of July period, fireworks can be used from Monday June 29th to July 4th, and not after 11:45 pm each night. Those who violate can receive a $1000 fine for each offense. Fireworks are also prohibited on all National Forest System land.
