Flood Warning

The National Weather Service in Grand Rapids issued a flood warning for Central Kalamazoo County along the Kalamazoo River due to an ice jam. The ice jam backed up the Kalamazoo River between King Highway bridge and Sprinkle Road. Water levels around the ice jam are notoriously unpredictable, and can change quickly with little or no warning. Anyone living near the river should pay close attention over the next few days and prepare for additional changes in water levels.
